Where will the dotMD 2019 be held?

dotMD will take place on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th September 2019 in the Bailey Allen Hall, which is located within the National University of Ireland, Galway campus

Who can attend dotMD?

The meeting is primarily intended for doctors, but nurses and allied health care professionals and medical students are welcome to attend. This includes those with an academic interest in medical humanities.

Is the meeting open to the general public?

dotMD is a professional development meeting for health care professionals, and is not open to the public. However, recordings of most meeting sessions and talks are made available on our website.

What activities are available to guests, partners, and families of dotMD attendees?

dotMD have also co-ordinated a range of activities for partners and guests and additional guest tickets are available for the dotMD party on Saturday 14th..

Galway's Westend has also been designated the out of hours social hub for the meeting where delegates and speakers can meet up and socialise.

Can I get a refund for my ticket if I change my mind?

Yes. All cancellations should be put in writing to dotMD by emailing events@dotmd.ie

From 28/1/2019 to 30/6/2019 a €30 cancellation fee will apply

Between 1/7/2019 and 14/8/2019 a €60 cancellation fee will apply

After 14/8/2019 no refund on monies paid

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Yes. As long as the person you are transferring your registration to is health care professional in the same category.

Can I get register for one day?

dotMD is a two day meeting. One day registration is not available.

When will the programme be available

The list of speakers for dotMD 2019 is now available. The running order for the meeting will be announced shortly.

Is the dotMD 2019 registered for CME / CPD

The meeting is eligible for 13 hours of CME (from the ICGP).
