Calling All Students! dotMD 2018 Student Scholarships Announced.

| December 18, 2017

It’s the most wonderful time of the year,
Creativity flowing
Hearts a-glowing
A unique atmosphere –
The DotMD conference is near!

We are delighted to announce that ten fully sponsored places are available for students to attend the vibrant medical festivities of #dotMD18. Once again a sell-out months in advance, dotMD is a conference like no other and the opportunity to attend gratis is an enviable prospect!

It was thanks to the student scholarship that I had my first introduction to dotMD two years ago and was able to make an eager return last year. Inspiring and revitalising, this celebration of technology, vision, compassion and imagination in medicine is now an unmissable event in my calendar. I am delighted to be the #dotMD18 intern.

Oliver Sacks wrote that “In examining disease, we gain wisdom about anatomy and physiology and biology. In examining the person with disease, we gain wisdom about life.” DotMD examines the person with the disease, establishing itself as a uniquely thought-provoking and engaging event.

So, here’s your opportunity to stand at the intersection between art and science and join us at #dotMD18 on Friday March 9th 2018 in Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin. The 6th year of this festival of medical curiosity will transcend disciplines as diverse as Buddhism, trans-humanism, literature and music.

Click here and complete the form to be in with a chance of receiving one of 10 much coveted student scholarships. Make sure to apply before the closing date – 8pm on January 2nd.

Looking forward to seeing you in Smock Alley!
