Ravi Komatireddy

Dr. Ravi Komatireddy MD/MCTI is an Internal Medicine trained physician and digital health entrepreneur who completed his medical training at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and the University of California San Diego.

He was the Chief Medical Officer of Lumiata Inc.; a venture funded big data, AI healthcare company focused on creating the largest medical graph database of medicine.  Lumiata’s database is currently used by Google to create results from medical search input.  He then went to become the first wireless health scholar at the Scripps Translational Science Institute where he earned a masters in clinical translational investigation.  His research there was spun out to a funded digital health startup called Reflexion Health Inc. of which he was a Cofounder and Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Komatireddy’s team converted commercially available motion tracking cameras to full fledged medical devices that enabled physical therapy to be delivered in the home with an automated avatar, reducing cost and increasing convenience and patient engagement after hip and knee surgery.
He currently holds a volunteer faculty position at the University of California San Diego and advises several other digital health startups.  In his spare time he flies planes, races cars, and is working to become a science focused filmmaker.

He also runs The Nowist Youtube Channel.
